Shared Ride Taxi General Information

The Washington County Shared-Ride Taxi Service provides public shared-ride services throughout Washington County and into the northern portion of Menomonee Falls. (Menomonee Falls service area boundaries include Maple Road to the west; Pilgrim Road to the east and Menomonee Avenue to south, with the exception to include Community Memorial Hospital and Gloria Dei Day Care.)

Origination or destination must begin in Washington County. Residents wishing to travel within the City of West Bend and the City of Hartford should continue to contact the municipal taxi service in those cities.

SERVICE HOURS - ALL AREAS
Monday--Saturday   5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. & Friday--Saturday 10:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Sundays   8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Please remember that we are a "Shared-Ride Taxi" service and, therefore, you must allow adequate travel time to and from appointments and allow for short delays, as others are scheduled to ride with you. Every attempt will be made to get you to your destination on time.

No Service Days
The Washington County Shared Ride Taxi service does not operate on the following days. The exact day the holiday occurs on is the day of no service.

Easter Sunday
Memorial Day
Independence Day (July 4th)
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

NEED A RIDE TO A WCCE PARK & RIDE LOCATION?
The Shared-Ride Taxi can provide service to/from the Washington County Commuter Express, park & ride locations at the reduced fare rate of $1 one-way.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES

Taxi service is available for disabled individuals who require special door-to-door assistance from the taxi operator within all of Washington County and the northern portion of Menomonee Falls.
Notice must be given when making a reservation if the passenger is in a wheelchair or requires special door-to-door assistance. A one-day advance reservation is required for specialized services. Additional time is needed to load and unload passengers in a wheelchair; please be considerate of other passengers.
Residents of a skilled nursing facility will not be transported unless they are accompanied by an attendant or a family member.
